Remembering Jessica MacNutt

Jessica was a friend, sponsor of my old fitness club and a great entrepreneur.

I will never forget her. Her obituary is below.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jessica Mae MacNutt, age 37 from Head of Chezzetcook on March 27, 2019.
Born in Truro, NS.  Jessica was the daughter of Steven MacNutt and Joyce Mingo.
Jessica’s friends growing up describe Jessica as a fearless, funny, beautiful, kind, wild, smart, organizer of all events, true Aquarius, music connoisseur, humanitarian, environmentalist and the most non-judging, big hearted kindest soul. She was a true gem to have as a friend, had the brightest smile and most infectious laugh.
Jessica attended school in Tatamagouche graduating in the year 2000 to attend Dalhousie University where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce.  Jessica enjoyed her family, camping, gardening, going to beach and travelling. 
Jessica met her husband Michael the love of her life from Belgium who was vacationing in Dominican Republic while she was there standing in a wedding for a very dear friend in 2010.
Jessica was self employed as the Business Owner of Gropro.ca.  She was active in the business community and was a member of The Village of Main in Dartmouth.  She was a loving wife to her husband Michael and mother to her two young children.  She was a very special person and a bright light to everyone that knew her.  Jessica will never be forgotten.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband Michael De Regter and her two young children Corrado Leith and Mieka Maria De Regter.
Sisters:  Samantha Cloney and Jenna MacNutt
Brothers:  Randy MacNutt, Andrew MacLean, Micah MacLean and Devon MacNutt
Nephew:  Danney Casson
Grandparents:  Cecil Mingo, Darrell and Verna MacNutt
Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Step Father:  Myles MacLean
She was predeceased by her father Steven MacNutt, brother Nathan MacNutt and Grandmother Dora Mingo.
A gathering with Jessica’s family to reminisce will be held at the Atlantic Funeral Homes Dartmouth, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, on Wednesday, April 3, 2017 from 6-8pm.  Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers a go fund me account has been set up in memory of Jessica for the children Corrado and Mieka.  Memories and donations may also be sent to corradoandmieka@gmail.com or a donation to the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia.
